Volos Greece Pelion
Volos ( Greece - Pelion - Nea Anchialos Airport) is a coastal port city in Thessaly, situated about 326 km north from Athens and 215 km south of Thessaloniki. It is an important industrial center while its port provides a bridge between Europe and Asia. Built on the Pagasitikos Gulf at the foot of Mount Pilion, it is connected by ferry to the Sporades and other islands. The national airport in Nea Anhialos is linked to the rest of Greece and Europe. There are many archaeological sights, museums, a large tourist infrastructure, great nightlife and many beaches in the town and nearby locations.
