Pedi ( Symi ) is located 2 km east of Ano Simi. It is built around its namesake bay, and has a fine sandy beach. The surrounding location is full of olive trees, vineyards and fruit trees.
Besides the natural attractions, the area attracts lovers of religious tourism, as there you will see the remains of early Christian churches and the Church of St. George with the gilded iconostasis or wall of icons. There are many hotels and resorts which provide comfortable accommodation for Pedi's visitors.
