A few meters before you arrive in the main square of Milies, you will find the famous Salkimi Taverna. With its impressive and unique wooden exterior and the tempting aromas from the kitchen invites you on a journey to sample the traditional tastes of the old days with the unique cuisine of Mrs Mygdalio. Some dishes we regularly prepare include fillo pies made with greens from the mountain, Hounkiar Beyendi which is veal served with mashed aubergine and three different cheeses cooked in a ceramic pot. There is also a selection of local wines and tsipouro to compliment your meals.
