Parga ( Greece ) is a picturesque resort town in Epirus, built up a mountainside located on the Ionian coast between the cities of Preveza and Igoumenitsa. It combines mountain and sea, and is known for its scenic beauty. Located 65 km from the airport of Aktio with seasonal charter flights from abroad, it is 344 km from Thessaloniki and 420 km from Athens. In the summer months it is connected to the surrounding islands of Ionian Sea by ferries.
