Kefalonia Greece
Kefalonia ( Greece ) is the sixth largest island in the country, with an area of 786 km2 and it is the second one in population with 36.527 residents. The capital is Argostoli, since 1757. The town has a unique beauty with neoclassical buildings and lovely piazzas. The island is a paradise of beaches, organized or not. A geological phenomenon is the Katavothres, the cave Drogarati and Melissanis Cave lake. The most important sights are the Argostoli's Archaeological Museum, the Maritime and Environmental Museum of Fiskardo with information about the island's history, sea life and natural beauty.
