The beaches of Halkidiki are developed for tourism, they are sandy with crystal clear turquoise water. The peninsula offers an unbelievable variety of resort towns from those with beach bars, clubs and water sports, to small coves untouched by tourism.
Kassandra, the most southern peninsula, is the most developed. Sani, Neos Fokea, Kallithea, Possidi, and Haniotis are popular sandy beaches on this Peninsula.
The Sithonia , the middle of the three, has many well-organized coasts as well, but there are also plenty of small coves with secluded private beaches to discover. Some incredible beaches on Sithonia are: Neos Marmaras, Armenistis, Karidi, Sarti,Kriaritisi, Kalamitsi and Porto Koufo.
