Amorgos Greece
Amorgos in Greece is the easternmost island of the Cyclades complex, 136 nautical miles from the Piraeus Port. Its surface area is about 121 km2 and the coastline is 126 km. It has a mountainous landscape, with the highest peak in 821 meters, impressive rock slopes, steep coasts in the south side, scenic bays and amazing beaches and it has two ports, Katapola and Aigiali. There is also a dive center which gives the opportunity to the people to discover the beautiful and rich island's seabed. The visitor should go to the spectacular Monastery of Panagia Hozoviotissa, situated on a cliff side on Mount Profitis Elias, northeast of the capital town, with a great view to the Aegean Sea and the surrounded islands.Useful information:
