Aegiali ( Amorgos ) is the second port of the island, located on the north coast of it and has heavy tourist traffic. Access to the village is either by boat as the port is connected with Piraeus and the other Cycladic islands or by car from Katapola and capital town. The area, according to archaeological findings, has been inhabited since ancient times. In Vigla one can see the ruins of the ancient city of the same name. The destination consists of three small villages, equally beautiful and traditional. It is built on the slopes of the highest mountain of the island. Lagada, Tholaria and Potamos with their authentic charm earn the admiration of visitors.
